StraDIM Relativity Manager

Murphy & McGonigle is actively seeking a Relativity Manager for its e-discovery practice.   The Relativity Manager is responsible for the installation, deployment, operation, administration, and maintenance of Relativity as well as the processing in and processing out of all data using the Relativity platform.  

The Relativity Manager:

  • Oversees chain of custody of all client data;
  • Processes documents for loading to review platforms such as Relativity or other industry standard software;
  • Assesses incoming data as to size and formatting and generating scope reports;
  • Is responsible for data and media tracking and production tracking logs;
  • Loads data to Relativity;
  • Creates and manages indexes and scripts;
  • Creates, administers, configures and customizes workspaces in Relativity;
  • Administers and manages user accounts and permissions in Relativity, including assigning user IDs and passwords;
  • Performs searches and computer assisted reviews;
  • Runs reports, including audit and exception reports;
  • Generates privilege logs;
  • Exports and packages deliverables for different review platforms including Concordance and Relativity;
  • Ensures quality of files loaded into and exported from e-discovery and case management applications;
  • Keeps the Relativity systems and services up and running at all times;
  • Analyzes and troubleshoots live production issues and resolves performance problems;
  • Provides consultative technical support to project managers, attorneys, and staff, as needed, including after hours and on weekends;
  • Responds to daily e-discovery tasks and requests submitted by Project Managers;
  • Tracks, allocates, and manages disc space;
  • Performs database backups, recovery procedures and testing, and data replication processes;
  • Documents processes;
  • Prepares and copies electronic media;
  • Performs or supports data transfer projects from firm and vendor FTP sites;
  • Participates in development and testing projects for new tools or modifications to existing ones;
  • Assists with upgrades and installation of applications, in conjunction with IT;
  • Works with IT to ensure that server and network infrastructure is optimized for best performance of applications;
  • Ensures that proper security is maintained in accordance with Murphy & McGonigle’s security procedures;
  • Performs other litigation support tasks as necessary.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in litigation/litigation support, eDiscovery processes and technologies, and review platforms;
  • Substantial experience with Relativity as a review and production platform. Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) preferred;
  • Knowledge of other industry standard litigation software (for example, IPRO, Concordance, Summation);
  • Knowledge of SQL Server;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Relativity back-end architecture;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and as a team player;
  • Ability to create necessary documentation on complex processes to ensure repeatability;
  • Strong analytical/critical thinking and problem solving;
  • Litigation experience preferred;
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends as necessitated by project work and periodic on-call rotation.
